Britney Spears

Britney was born on December 2nd 1981 to parents Jamie and Lynne Spears in Kentwood, Louisiana, America. At age 8 Britney tried out for a place at the ‘Mickey Mouse Club’ but unfortunately was turned down due to the fact that she was so young. This didn’t stop Britney however because at age 11 she tried out again for the ‘Mickey Mouse Club’ and this time she was successful. Growing up Britney was a very fun spirited child who was very active and took part in many extra curricular activities. Britney enrolled for dance lessons at a very young age and also became quite a good gymnast and entered many competitions.

Britney’s big break came however in the late 90s when she was signed on with Jive Records to record and album. Her debut album titled ‘Baby One More Time’ came out in 1999 and ever since then Britney has been a massive hit all over the world. Britney went on to release another album ‘Oops I Did It Again’ in may of 2000. Britney’s music career and personal life have been much talked about in the past 2 or so years but this has never driven away her loyal fans.

In early 2008, Britney cleaned up at the MTV Video Music Awards and this was the comeback that all beloved Britney fans were waiting for. She is back and better than ever and her fans couldn’t be happier.
